Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: July 25, 2026
How Velatura collects, uses, discloses, and protects information connected with this website and our public communications.
This policy or notice is provided by Velatura Aesthetics, PLLC, doing business as Velatura Medical Aesthetics & Wellness (“Velatura,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers the Velatura website and messages you send us by email, text, call, or voicemail. Medical records are covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices. Aesthetic Record and other third-party services follow their own privacy policies.
2. Information we may collect
When you contact or book with us, we may receive your name, contact details, appointment interests, and the content of your messages. Please do not send health details, photos, medication lists, or card numbers by public email, text, or voicemail.
If you opt in to texts or calls, we keep your mobile number, the date and source of your opt-in, the consent language shown to you, your messages, and any opt-out requests. Calls are recorded only after the notice and consent required by law.
Our hosting and security providers automatically log basic technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages requested — to run and protect the site. Our scheduling and communications provider also uses a site analytics script that measures visits and, if you arrive from a tracked link, associates your visit for attribution. This website does not use behavioral advertising or session replay.
Booking and the client portal run on Aesthetic Record. Information you enter there is collected under Aesthetic Record’s privacy policy and may be available to Velatura for your care and payment.
3. How we use information
We use this information to respond to you, schedule and support appointments, provide services, process payments you authorize, run and secure the website, send administrative messages (marketing only with your separate permission), meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, and prevent fraud or misuse.
4. How information may be disclosed
We share information only with service providers that support our operations (hosting, security, scheduling, records, messaging, payments), with professionals involved in your care as permitted by law, when you direct us to, when the law requires it, and with a successor if the practice is ever sold or reorganized, subject to privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for behavioral advertising, and we will not share your mobile number with any third-party company for its own marketing.
Mobile and messaging data: Mobile numbers, text-messaging originator opt-in data, and messaging consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information only to service providers acting on Velatura’s behalf—including Aesthetic Record, communications providers, carriers, and compliance vendors—solely to deliver and support Velatura communications, or when disclosure is required by law. Those providers may not use the information for their own marketing.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This site itself sets only the browser storage strictly needed to run and secure it — no advertising cookies. Embedded third-party services — the Google map on our Visit page and our scheduling provider’s analytics — and sites you reach from here, including Aesthetic Record, may set their own cookies under their own policies.
6. Communications and your choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message. For texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, REVOKE, or OPT OUT to stop texts, or clearly ask us by text, email, or phone; we may send one nonpromotional message confirming your opt-out, and after that no further texts will be sent unless you validly re-enroll. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts may also stop appointment reminders, so use the client portal or email for anything necessary. See our SMS/Text Messaging & Voice Communications Terms.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for patient care, business, tax, and legal requirements; periods vary by record type.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No website or transmission method is completely secure, so use the Aesthetic Record client portal — not public email or text — for sensitive messages.
9. Your requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we are not required to keep. Requests about medical records are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices. We may verify your identity before acting.
10. Children and pediatric care
Velatura serves adults 18 and older, and this website is not directed to minors. People under 18 should not use online booking, create a client-portal account, or send us personal information. If you believe a minor has done so, contact us.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The current version and its effective date are always posted here.
